Are part-time students eligible for the University of Debrecen student/employee discounted ticket?
Yes, part-time students of the University of Debrecen are eligible for discounted tickets. At the entrance, they must present proof of student status or a student ID with a valid sticker. In this case, you can only purchase a pass for yourself (not for family members or friends).
Debrecen City Card and Debrecen Junior Card – is there a difference?
Holders of the Debrecen Junior City Card are also entitled to purchase the discounted ticket available with the Debrecen City Card.
I live nearby. Can I buy a discounted ticket?
If your permanent address is on the "neighboring streets" list, you are eligible for a discounted ticket. At the entrance, you must present a valid ID and address card together to verify eligibility. It is crucial that only those whose permanent address appears on the list of neighboring streets are entitled to the discounted ticket.
What does the VIP ticket include?
VIP ticket benefits: fast-track entry, access to the VIP area, VIP bar, exclusive VIP restrooms, and a VIP viewing platform.
I purchased the wrong type of ticket. What should I do?
Unfortunately, we cannot exchange or refund tickets in this case. We recommend uploading your ticket to TicketSwap so someone else can enjoy it. TicketSwap is a leading secondary ticket resale platform where individuals can buy and sell tickets. TicketSwap is our official secondary ticketing partner.
Can I transfer my previously purchased ticket to someone else?
Generally, yes, as we check the barcode at the entrance. One person can buy multiple tickets/passes, which are linked to the user at the ticket exchange point. After that, transfers are not possible. However, there are some exceptions:
- For student passes, we check the University of Debrecen’s valid student ID or proof of student status.
- For "Neighbor" tickets, a valid address card must be presented (the permanent address must be on the "Neighboring Streets" list).
- For Debrecen City Card holders, only the cardholder can use the ticket.
- Employee passes of the University of Debrecen are non-transferable and can only be used by the person holding a valid UniPass card and/or employer certification.
My ticket says "partner ticket." Can I enter the festival with it?
Yes, you can. TicketSwap labels tickets this way, but it does not affect entry.
Can minors enter Campus Festival? From what age does my child need a ticket?
Children under 14 can only attend the Campus Festival with a parent or guardian. A ticket is required from the age of 10.
I want to exchange my ticket for a wristband. How can I do that?
Ticket exchange information is updated before the festival. Typically, ticket-to-wristband exchanges happen at multiple locations in the city. Please note that daily tickets can only be exchanged on the corresponding event day.
How can people with disabilities or chronic illnesses attend the festival?
People with disabilities or chronic illnesses can attend the event for free if they have a card issued by the Hungarian State Treasury confirming their status. It is important to note that in this case, the person can only attend with a companion. The ticket type granted to the attendee will match that of the companion. For wheelchair users, unfortunately, due to safety regulations, it is not possible to provide a spot inside the barriers during concerts. However, experience shows that fellow attendees are considerate of wheelchair users, and the security team ensures they can enjoy the concert smoothly.
